I am a sensitive seeker of understanding. My life has been somewhat of a miracle since I was a premie and my family says I wasn't expected to live after birth. I have spent my life trying to figure out my place here and the purpose I am to serve. The farther along I get things seem clear one day and blurry the next. It's like forgetting to put both contact lenses in. I know everything changes, that nothing lasts forever but someday I would like to be able to see without something between me and the rest of the world. Maybe it's because I have astigmatism and nothing really is ever in focus. I'm trusting it is not because of the suffering I have gone through to get to where I am. That is the source of my compassion. I believe improving my vision will lead to something greater than just becoming more compassionate. I am working on it becoming something more active. I think J.P. Sartre said something like ”freedom is doing something with what has been done to you”. I am here because I intend to do something. Stick with me and find out what transpires.
